An ocean of green, Mongolia is the most sparsely populated country in the world, with just under three million people in a landmass larger than Alaska. Mongolian culture—physical, mobile, self-reliant, and free—developed out here on the steppe. “When people move to Ulaanbaatar, they bring that mentality with them,” says Baabar, a well-known publisher and historian.

Architecture Photography – Rainbow Windows

The windows of the Ministry of Communications and the Arts – is a wonderful rainbow of colours. Previously a building for the Singapore Police, it has since become the headquarters for the Arts Ministry as well as a gallery for art exhibitions.

Dragonfly in the Rain

This photo was taken when I was taking photos of other insects, as I normally did during macro photo hunting. I wasn’t actually aware of this dragonfly since I was occupied with other objects. When I was about to take a picture of it, it suddenly rained, but the lighting was just superb. I decided to take the shot regardless of the rain.

Some pictures just capture you’re imagination

It is those moments that occur at fleeting passage of time leave a profound impact on your psyche. Some of them make you yearn to relive them and would inspire you to produce your masterful work just to relive that fleeting moment again. At the other extreme, they take you to your deepest introspection and make you much wiser.

Just finished the reading Big Bang by Simon Singh, the entire experience reminded me of the awe, joy, fun and excitement I had when I was first introduced to the concepts of structure of atom, relativity theory and others when in school. Big Bang Theory, in my opinion, is The greatest achievement, so far, of human intellect. Grab a copy of the above mentioned book if you can, you wont be disappointed.
